Creating The Paths Back To You Logo:
1. I asked the client to highlight the mission behind their brand, the vision for their logo and the purpose of their podcast.
"My mission is to help listeners find the way back home to their most loving, authentic selves. Some motifs might be a journey, a road, someone walking home."
2. With the client's input I began to conceptualize the idea of the long journey back to self, the idea of finding "oneself" and so a lot of imagery came to mind. I created two different mood boards for the client to get a feel of what type of typefaces, color palettes and imagery she was most interested in. Once I got her feedback, I started to sketch and ideate my ideas onto paper.
3. Over the next few mornings, I worked on various sketches and came up with a woman walking on a path that lead to a giant sun. The sun is meant to symbolize this idea of wholeness and what we would possibly feel when we come back home to ourselves. The journey is never truly clear, or without challenges, so the mountains are there to encapsulate the climb to the top and struggles we face on this journey back home.
4. I sent over the logo with multiple variations of the color palette and she asked for a darker sun, a thinner typeface and the logo to not include her name.
5. I made the modifications and here we have the new logo for paths back to you.
